What Excites me most about my topic is sports. every athlete is involved in a sport they love and what to do their best at. These athletes will do what ever it takes to excel in their sport. While few athletes have knowledge about eating the right foods for sports most do not. There are specific foods that athletes need to learn about the can help them improve. You put garbage in you will get garbage out.
What concern you most about your genius hour project?
What concerns me is that I wont be able to stay on a strict eating habit when it comes to eating healthy before/during/after my sporting events. also some people probably dont think eating will affect their level of play, but do you really think eating a snickers, brownie and a two liter of soda will help you score the winning point? so my goal is to track my progress of having healthy eating habits and then inform those who read this how i feel with these good changes. And what i feel improved.
What Progress Have you made so far?
So far I have been cutting back on the unhealthy foods. These foods include, Soda, candy, chocolate, sugary items such as syrup for my flap-Jacks. Its a little to soon to tell but I already feel like i have more energy. Also now becuase I am eating healthier i feel better about what im eating which in turn helps me have a more positive attitude. Instead of saying " wow, I should not have eaten that twinkie because I have a game later!"
